Buying from someone you have never met should not require trust. On escrow-tier vendors, ArcardeMall holds your payment and releases it only once delivery is confirmed — so if the order never arrives, the money is still ours to give back, not the vendor’s to keep.

1. How escrow works

  1. You pay. The money goes to ArcardeMall, not to the vendor.
  2. The vendor is told the order is funded and prepares it.
  3. A rider collects and delivers it.
  4. You hand over your delivery code. That confirmation — and nothing else — releases the funds to the vendor, minus commission.
  5. If you raise a claim first, the money stays put until the case is decided.

2. Guarantee tiers

Not every vendor is on the same tier. The tier is shown on the storefront and on the product page, so you know what you are getting before you buy.

3. What is covered

  • Orders that never arrive.
  • Items materially different from the listing.
  • Items that arrive damaged.
  • Counterfeit goods sold as genuine.
  • Money taken twice for one order.

4. What is not covered

  • Change of mind on non-returnable categories (see Returns & refunds).
  • Damage caused after delivery.
  • Deals arranged off-platform — if you pay a vendor directly outside ArcardeMall, we cannot help.
  • Purchases from Direct-tier vendors, beyond mediation.
  • Delivery codes shared before the goods were in your hands.

5. How disputes are decided

Cases are decided on evidence: the listing as it stood, the message history, delivery status and handover code, photographs, and the rider’s record. We aim to decide within 5 business days. Both sides are told the reasons. Our decision governs the escrowed funds only; it does not affect your right to take the matter further.

6. How to keep yourself covered

  • Keep the conversation and the payment on ArcardeMall.
  • Never share your handover code before receiving the goods.
  • Photograph damaged packaging before opening it.
  • Raise problems inside the deadlines — late claims are much harder to prove.
